Our crazy, hectic, wonderful life

For about a 6-month period over the past year, I kept a journal surrounding the preparation, travel, post-trip, and follow up for a trip that Sean and I took to Haiti in October 2009. I found that Blogging is a little addictive, and its a great procrastination tool to occupy my time when I don't feel like doing homework, laundry, or other responsibilities that I can't motivate to do at any given time. Lord knows, I'm a professional procrastinator.

Life for the Wrenn family is busier than ever. Nine months ago, I started grad school at the Colorado Christian University. I work full time during the days for the American Water Works Association, then I attend class in the evenings and sometimes on the weekends. When I finish, I will have completed my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology. This semester, I'm also completing my Practicum, which is something like an internship. I'm less than 10 hours away from fulfilling the 100-hour outside-of-class requirement.

Sean is still loving his job at Aeropostale. He travels quite often, but is typically not gone for more than a couple of days at a time. He is running a handful of stores in Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota. We feel very blessed that he has a job that he loves so much.

Marley Jean is rapidly approaching 3-years old (on August 1st). It is hard to believe that our little baby is walking (as well as jumping, running, skipping, and... best of all... dancing!!!), talking, learning to potty on the big girl toilet, and saying her ABCs and 123s! Time has really flown. She is the love of my life and such a huge blessing to us.

The biggest news in our world is that we are expecting another baby in late-October. Tomorrow actually marks the 12-week point in the pregnancy, thank goodness!!! I have been significantly more sick and uncomfortable this time around. Hopefully the 2nd trimester will bring some new energy so that I can wrap up my school semester and final exams with flying colors!

I will do my best to update this blog from time to time. The last thing I need right now is a new project... Heaven forbid I ever have a moment of boredom, right?!
